The governor for Cross River state, Professor Ben Ayade don talk say if government add another stay for your house mata on top the one wey them do before say too much wahala go dey for country wey them government no go fit control. The governor say the mata go make people make dem no get rest of mind again for house.
On Tuesday, for Industrial Park wey dey inside Calabar, Professor Ayade say the plan to give 8000 youth work for the state na make pipo mind dey calm for this harsh economic period mata wey COVID-19 cause for the country.
The governor talk say even as oil moni don fall for market, say another two weeks wey pipo dem go dey for house without work no go dey alright especially those small small boys wey them dey call youth.
The governor come explain say our whether condition dey different from that of them oyinbo them own, say na why e no plenty for our country compared to oyinbo them own. According to the governor, him say
"Our demography is different from the west. Our climatic conditions are different. If you take the wind speed, the wind direction, sun intensity, radiation and the factors that govern the movement of a virus, ours is a situation that makes it difficult to spread with the speed it is spreading in the western world.
"So, our response strategy should reflect our environmental sensitivity. May be what COVID 19 will eventually do is to sharpen the consciousness of young people to come together. That will be very dangerous and so, to nip that in the bud, we have to find jobs for them because sincerely, that is the provision in the constitution. Section 14 sub section 2 says the welfare and security of the people are the primary essence of government"
The governor come talk say companies wey come out for him time for the state go take those small small boys for the state wey no get work. The governor say him go comot them for the street, give them something to do wey go dey give them moni, say him want make them dey ok.
According to the governor, this matter dey worry am too much wey make them stop plenty project wey them dey do for the state.
