Mike Tyson offered $1 million to battle rugby legend Sonny Williams

Mike Tyson could be enticed once more into the ring by a battle with rugby legend Sonny Bill Williams.

Previous heavyweight best on the planet Tyson is preparing for a boxing return at 53 years old.

He plans to contend in display sessions, 15 years after he resigned following a thrashing by Kevin McBride.

Tyson has selected blended hand to hand fighting mentor Rafael Cordeiro to be his new mentor – and the recording they have discharged shows the American has lost little of his capacity.

What's more, presently Australian boxing advertiser Brian Amatruda has asserted he needs to set up a battle among Tyon and Williams who amassed a 7-0 record more than six years as an expert.

Williams right now plays rugby association for the Toronto Wolfpack in Super League, yet Amatruda stated: "The main thing I did was contact [celebrity agent] Max Markson and request that he offer Tyson $1m.

"Max got him to Australia 2012. He manages everything well with him and his significant other yet the primary concern is that he got him a visa to get into the nation in those days and that is the key.

"I'd hold it at Melbourne Arena where we'd get more than 10,000 or even Princes Park where they got 30,000 for Jeff Fenech versus Azumah Nelson.

"He may be 53 years of age yet he's as yet a colossal name and any of those guys, [Barry] Hall, [Paul] Gallen or Sonny Bill would seize the opportunity to get into the ring with him.

"I'd make it part of a card with a world title battle for Tayla [Harris] on it. It would be colossal. Not only a battle, it would be an occasion."
