What is Google?

I must apologize for ignoring the fact that some people actually do not know what Google is? What it does? How it is used, of what benefit is Google to us rather than doing that I went straight ahead to write about Google AdSense and removing copyrighted product from videos weupload on YouTube in other to earn money from them.

In this article or write up, am simply going to talk or give us an insight about Google or what Google is?

What is Google?

It is important to note that the word “Google” originated from a misspelled word “googol”. Google is an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products that include online advertising technologies, search, cloud computing and software. Google was founded in September 4, 1998, Menlo Park, California, United States.

It was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were Ph.D. students at Stanford University, California. Together they own about 14 percent of its shares and control 56 percent of the Stockholder voting power and since Google came into existence, it has grown so well in its products, acquiring and partnerships beyond Google's core search engine. Google offers productivity software’s (Google Docs) including email (Gmail), a cloud storage service (Google Drive) and social networking services (Google+).

By the year 2000, Google had already attracted a lot of internet followers as it introduced selling of adverts associated with search keywords. Apart from selling of these adverts, which are associated with keywords, Google also have programs that allow it’s user to earn money online.

Google Search

Google search known as Google Web Search is a web search engine owned by Google Inc. and is the most used search engine on the net.

Maps

Maps are really useful and can be of a very good help as it can help you get where you need to go and learn what you need to know before you get there. Google maps isn’t limited, it is free and can be accessed through the web browser or as an app for mobile. Google maps can be used as long as you want to use it. It shows you a step by step directions, find information about local business and a whole lot more.

Play

Google play store is the official app store for Android smartphones and tablets. It used to be know as the Android Market. The Google Play store, which comes pre-installed on Android devices and allows the user to download and install applications from Google and third party developers.

Gmail

Gmail also known as Google mail and is a free advertising-supported email service provided by Google. Users may access Gmail as a secured webmail. Gmail as of today is one of the world’s most powerful and well-built tech tools as it allows its users to be able to:-
1) Reschedule messages.
2) Snooze emails.
3) send stock responses,
4) track readers due to the fact that you can find out if your mail was read,
5) make a do list,
6) schedule appointments,
7) get all your email in one view,
8) work offline as Gmail has an app that is offline base which allows you to read and reply to messages without an internet connection,
9) Get quick notifications.
10) Get Gmail to text or call you by specifying that, it should call or text you when a particular set of people mails you.
11) Finally, making Gmail your one stop shop.

Google+

Google+ can easily be activated the same way you activate your normal Google Account. Google+ is a social network that builds off your Google Account and when you enter or open an account with it you will encounter a great deal of resources such as Hangouts, Communities, YouTube, Google Search, Gmail, Google Maps and many others.
