Most young men out there on the internet wants to make money but don’t know how to go about it. Am a graduate and have been working for so long (with over 8 years of experience and nothing to show for it). I took a bold step, resigned from my paid job (am not saying you should do that) because I had a reason to.

I heard, read a lot about Google AdSense (though I have not started making money from it). I tried to have one, I created a blog, updated it with all sort of news and things I could think of and to my surprise, I never got approved up till this very moment. I never knew there was a whole lot of ways of getting a Google AdSense account and having it approved as well. I thought it was all about blogging and creating a website.  Before I show you how I went about it, let me first give you a little detail on what Google AdSense Is all about.

What is Google AdSense?
Google AdSense is the biggest ad network that serves ads on our webpage, website, blogs or other websites and allows the owners to make money or lots of money from these ads that are placed on the pages, blogs or websites.

All you need to know is what types of ads you want on your site, where you want them, how big they should be and other details. AdSense will determine the most relevant ads to run on your site and automatically serves them to people when they visit your site.

Requirements If you look closely above, you will see that it is very simple to implement as you are not required to do a lot of things.  All you need have is an:

Internet Connection
Active Blog or Website that has been running for some time, let’s say at least 5 months.
AdSense Account.

Remember, am not here to talk about creating a website or blog as I said earlier that I was never approved by Google AdSense, Rather am here to inform us on how you can integrate your YouTube account with an AdSense account and get the approval less than an hour which is not meant to be that long except you have a slow internet connection. To do this, you will have to follow the instructions bellow:

· First of all, Create a New Gmail Account.  If you haven’t used your old Gmail account for Monetization then you can also use your Old account as well. If your country is not supported by AdSense then choose a country like US and UK, while creating New Gmail Account.
· Login to your “YouTube” Account by visiting https://www.youtube.com/
· Visit http://youtube.com/account_monetization
· Enable “Monetization” for your YouTube Account. The screenshot for doing the same is given below:

·        After that, you will have to “Accept” all terms and condition. The screenshot of the same is given below:

·         Finally, Click on “Monetize” Button. The screenshot of the same is given below:

· After doing that, you will receive an Email in your Inbox.
· Now, Upload a Unique video in your YouTube Account. While doing that, Don’t forget to add appropriate description and Tags for videos. Wait for the upload to get completed. Once done, Publish it.
· To associate an AdSense Account, Visit https://www.youtube.com/account_monetization and expand the topic “How Will I be Paid” and click on the link “Associate an AdSense Account“. The screenshot of the same is given below:

Now you will be redirected to a screen where you will have to set up your AdSense account. Click on “Continue” button for filling your other details such as address, country, payee name etc.

· After filling all details, click on “Submit” button. Wait for 1-2 hours. You will get an Email containing the details of an Approved AdSense Account.

That’s all that is required. Enjoy your Google AdSense account and start earning money uploading videos to your YouTube account.
